Lake Como luxury villa - This stately villa sits majestically on the shores of Lake Como, near the town of Limonta in the heart of the Oliveto Lario just a short distance from the well known town of Bellagio. Dating back to the 19th century, the property has been built in a liberty style and is surrounded by a landscaped park and centuries old trees. There are picture postcard views stretching away across the lake and inland, including towards the Grigna mountain range, the Rhaetian Alps and towards the picturesque town of Varenna.

Cherished for the last century by the property owners, the villa also benefits from modern conveniences including air conditioning , WIFI Internet and swimming pool. Bedrooms have their own appointed bathrooms or shower rooms, many with balconies. The end result is an exclusive residence and an ideal place to enjoy Lake Como in style.

There is a small trattoria for a convenient meal out within walking distance whilst the well known town of Bellagio is nearby with a historical centre to explore and a wide range of shops and restaurants. There is a local boat service in Bellagio that serves the numerous towns and villages around the lake, meaning this is a good starting point to explore Como itself. Further afield there is Como town, Milan, Bergamo and Lugano within day trip range.

Note: the owners have a house in the grounds that they use at weekends and for one or two weeks a year at other times. There is also a caretakers cottage (out of site) within the grounds. There is a boat house and jetty (not intended for client use) nearby.
