Beach villa in Sicily - This is a modern house built in a Mediterranean style situated on the edge of the town of Modica on the south eastern side of Sicily, not far from Ragusa.

A few steps away from the villa extends a white reef of rocks that slowly descends towards the sea and just one hundred metres away, a long beach of golden sand. The villa is divided in fact into two apartments, both self contained, however the unit is rented as one property. A large living room looks on to a wide terrace (with barbecue) whilst there is also a small town garden area. Bedrooms are comfortably appointed, with two south facing balconies offering sea views.

Modica is an ancient Sicilian town with some amenities, however further afield is the well known town of Ragusa (at 15 kms). Modica is worthy of sightseeing; churches, local events including religious performances and festas abound. It is even possible to take a hydrofoil to Malta in 3 hrs at nearby Pozzallo.
