Whilst not being luxurious, the property is of a good standard throughout and retains many original features; sympathetically restored wooden rafters and rustic furnishings lend a certain charm and sober elegance. There are various covered, terraced areas for dining al fresco, whilst the pool area is a shady part of the garden with a surrounds of olive trees. The garden itself contains fruit trees, almond trees and other native plants unique to this region.

There are several points of interest in the area, including Erice, Trapani, Segesta and the Egadi islands. San Vito Lo Capo, the nearby seaside village, has a beach and restaurants.
